EUROSTATE, founded by Steven Zijl, is a boutique private equity manager, headquartered in Barcelona since 2001. Our core business is focused on real estate niche markets, being first-movers in living sectors in Spain, such as purpose build student accommodation, urban boutique hoteles and nursing homes. In each sector we apply a solid financial structure, teaming up in exclusivity with opportunistic investment partners. Our core business activities are:

Objective. Our goal is to invest in the Spanish living sectors to contribute to the problem-solving of housing accessibility for all ages, from student, young couples to seniors. We classified these age groups into three subsectors: Student Living, Urban Living and Senior Living with highly specialized operating models in each sector.

Social Criteria. The operating models behind these living sectors are structured on a Propco-Opco basis which separates the property investments from the operations. As part of the ESG strategy, the social objective of the investments is set to create positive impact on residents, families, employees, supporting local businesses and contributing to the well-being of the community.
